Construction of new building housing Bjelovar General Hospital to cost €36.6 m

ZAGREB, Nov 14 (Croatia Sun News) – The management of the general hospital in the city of Bjelovar, 80 kilometres east of Zagreb, has opted for an offer of HRK 272 million for the construction of the new hospital building, and the bidder is the Krizevci-based Radnik company.

A total of four bidders had sent their offers for the construction of the new building, and the hospital management reported on Wednesday that the most favourable one amounted to HRK 272 million and that it also met all the criteria of the tender.

Bjelovar-Bilogora County, which is the owner of the hospital, has provided more than a half of the necessary sum for this project, however, HRK 107 million is still needed and the local authorities expect the Croatian government to co-fund the project in line with the model of co-funding the construction of the Pula hospital building.
