“Lado” folklore ensemble performs in Vienna to mark start of Croatia’s EU presidency

ZAGREB, Jan 23 (Croatia Sun News) – Wednesday evening the Croatian folklore ensemble “Lado” held a concert at the Vienna City Hall on the occasion of Croatia’s assuming the presidency of the European Union.

Before the concert, a Croatian delegation, led by Ambassador Danijel Gluncic, met with Vienna Mayor Michael Ludwig, who said that Vienna and Zagreb had traditionally excellent relations and that he was confident Croatia’s EU presidency would be very good and contribute to the further promotion of overall bilateral relations.

The Lado concert was attended by an audience of more than 500 politicians, business people, diplomats and culture professionals from Austria and Croatia.
