ZAGREB, Feb 27 (Croatia Sun News) – The Central State Office for Croats Abroad has invited non-profit organisations of Croats abroad to submit applications for projects of interest to Croats living outside Croatia. The tender budget is HRK 2.5 million (€335,120).
The minimum amount an individual project can apply for is HRK 5,000 (€670) and the maximum amount is HRK 80,000 (€10.7). One applicant can submit no more than two projects and applications should be sent until March 20.
Those eligible are individuals and non-profit organisations in Croatia and abroad (associations, foundations, religious communities, etc). Also eligible are vulnerable, destitute or sick individuals who live abroad.
The state office supports projects that preserve and strengthen Croatia’s national identity, protect the rights and interest of Croatian communities abroad, preserve the language, heritage, cultural creativity or promote cultural, scientific, economic cooperation with the homeland.
