Vrgorac launches online farmers’ market

ZAGREB, March 23 (Croatia Sun News) – The southern town of Vrgorac, in Split-Dalmatia County, has decided to launch an online farmers’ market due to the current crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

The local government has launched a website with information on 450 local family farms which grow strawberries, apples, peaches, plums, grapes and other fruit and vegetables, as well as honey and quality wines.

The website contains a data basis with information on family farms, their products and available quantities, as well as an android application connecting producers with end-users in three simple steps.
