ZAGREB, March 25 (Croatia Sun News) – The main Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) indices rose on Wednesday for the second day in a row, keeping up with the global stock market, where profits were made following new monetary and fiscal measures aimed at remedying the economic consequences of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Crobex index rose by 1.4% to 1,423 points, while the Crobex10 rose by 1.31% to 886 points.
The gains were mostly due to the strengthening of global stock markets for the second day in a row after investors were encouraged by unprecedented fiscal and monetary measures taken by governments worldwide to alleviate the economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
Regular turnover was HRK 23.5 million, which is HRK 8 million more than on the previous day.
The Adris tourism and insurance group generated the largest turnover, HRK 6.7 million. Its price increased by 7.62% to HRK 339 per share.
Valamar Riviera hotel company turned over HRK 4.84 million. Its price rose by 2.8% to HRK 20.1 per share.
The HT telecom share turned over HRK 2.65 million, and its price dropped by 1.78% to HRK 166 per share.
