Exhibition staged in Split to mark 40 years since inscription of Diocletian’s Palace on UNESCO list
ZAGREB, Aug 1 – The multimedia exhibition “UNESCO 40” opened in the Old City Hall in Split on Wednesday evening to mark 40 years since the inscription of Diocletian’s Palace and the city’s historical complex on UNESCO’s World Heritage List.
The author of the exhibition, Ivan Peric, said that on display were 14 works by eminent local artists, including video and audio installations, photo collages and other media arts. The event was opened by Mayor Anto Krstulovic Opara.
The exhibition is open until August 31.
