Zagreb hosting Festival of EU Archaeology

ZAGREB, Feb 22 (Croatia Sun News) – The Zagreb Archaeological Museum is hosting the Festival of EU Archaeology on the occasion of Croatia’s presidency of the Council of the EU in the first half of this year with the aim to show member states’ archaeological heritage and recall the common foundations which shaped the values of present-day Europeans.

Daruvar’s “Ginko in love” tree a candidate for European Tree of the Year

Dubrovnik celebrating 1048th Feast of St. Blaise

ZAGREB, Feb 3 (Croatia Sun News) – Dubrovnik on Monday celebrated its patron saint, St. Blaise, and the the central part of the week-long festivities within the Feast of St. Blaise, was the solemn Mass in the Dubrovnik cathedral followed by a traditional procession with the saint’s relics carried through the old town.
