Croatia sets aside €513,000 for its expat communities
ZAGREB, Sept 12 (Croatia Sun News) – Croatia has ensured HRK 3.8 million for the support of projects of Croat expat communities in European countries and overseas in 2019.
To this end, the Central State Office for Croats Abroad has advertised a call for applications that can be sent until 10 October.
The priority areas covered by the requests for funding are the development of the organisations and networks of the Croatian Diaspora, and projects in culture, education, science, sports and tourism as well as activities aimed at preserving the Croatian identity and strengthening the bonds with the Republic of Croatia.
Projects of support for expat Croatians and ethnic Croat communities have been implemented since 2012.
