ZAGREB, March 27 (Croatia Sun News) – The International Council of Museums has called on governments and institutions to help museums in Zagreb that have been damaged in the strongest earthquake that has hit the Croatian capital in the last 140 years.
ZAGREB, March 26 (Croatia Sun News) – Culture Minister Nina Obuljen Korzinek stated that the Ministry of Culture would be involved in the restoration of the damaged cultural heritage since a large part of Zagreb’s cultural-historical area had been damaged in Sunday’s earthquake, while some buildings had been destroyed.
ZAGREB, March 10 (Croatia Sun News) – The busts which used to be placed in the vestibule of the Pantovcak presidential office were removed last week, a source from the office of President Zoran Milanovic stated, adding that talks are being held with museums and other institutions for the return and storage of the statues.

ZAGREB, Jan 29 (Croatia Sun News) – The 12th annual educational and historical reenactment of “1573 Peasant Revolt” will be held on 8 February at Golubovec Castle in Donja Stubica and the event will be followed by the “Buna party”, where Croatian rock groups will perform.
