Regional development ministry co-funds energy renovation of hospital and schools in Zadar County

ZAGREB, Oct 14 (Croatia Sun News) – Minister for Regional Development and EU Funds Marko Pavic, in the coastal city of Zadar on Monday, signed ten agreements on co-funding the energy renovation of five buildings of the psychiatric hospital on the island of Ugljan and the primary schools in Skabrnja and Gracac, worth HRK 11 million in total.

European Commission sets aside €48 mn for upgrade of Srebrnjak Children’s Hospital

ZAGREB, Sept 17 (Croatia Sun News) – A project to upgrade the Zagreb-based Srebrnjak Children’s Hospital, whereby the hospital will become a clinical research centre, is being co-funded by the European Union in the amount of €48 million, the European Commission stated on Tuesday.

HRK 40 million Cres port reconstruction project presented

ZAGREB, Aug 30 – Forty million kuna will be invested until the end of 2021 for a project for the reconstruction and upgrade of the western section of Cres port, with most the funds being provided from EU funds, the project’s promoter, the port authority in Cres, said on Friday.

Zagreb city authorities to financially support renovation of religious buildings

ZAGREB, Aug 8 – The Zagreb city authorities are willing to financially support the renovation of facades and roofs of religious communities’ places of worship, with Mayor Milan Bandic having invited religious communities to apply for project-specific grants in the next three months.
