Gov’t to give HRK 20,000 per household as post-quake emergency aid

ZAGREB, May 7 (Croatia Sun News) – The Croatian government has secured emergency aid in the amount of HRK 20,000 per household for the necessary protection and repair of buildings damaged in the March 22 quake that hit Zagreb and its environs, and it will soon put to public consultation a bill on the reconstruction of buildings.

W. Balkan countries receiving aid from Croatia for fight against COVID-19

ZAGREB, May 4 (Croatia Sun News) – Croatian Foreign and European Affairs Minister Gordan Grlic Radman said that Croatia would send protective gear to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania and Montenegro and that shipments were worth HRK 1.2 million (€158,000).

Croatian Americans raise $160,000 for Croatian hospitals

ZAGREB, April 15 (Croatia Sun News) – The Association of Croatian American Professionals (ACAP) has raised over $160,000 to help Croatian hospitals purchase medical equipment and supplies after the March 22 earthquake in Zagreb and the COVID-19 pandemic.
