Nation-wide tree-planting campaign taking place on Oct 25 – 27

ZAGREB, Oct 25 (Croatia Sun News) – The Zeleni Klik (Green Klick) association, which has launched a nation-wide tree-planting campaign, will on Friday plant fruit trees outside two Zagreb primary schools and three kindergartens in cooperation with those institutions, at the start of the three-day campaign.

HRK 1.43bn agreement signed for water supply infrastructure in Kastela and Trogir agglomeration

ZAGREB, Oct 4 (Croatia Sun News) – A HRK 1.43 billion (€193 million) co-financing agreement for the construction and reconstruction of the municipal water supply infrastructure in the Kastela and Trogir agglomeration was signed in Split on Thursday. The work should be completed by December 2023.

Protests for forest protection to be held in Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro

ZAGREB, Oct 4 (Croatia Sun News) – A protest for the protection of forests will be held on Saturday, October 5, when an alert will be simultaneously sounded at noon on Zagreb’s Mt. Medvednica, Mt. Fruska Gora in Serbia, and Mt. Durmitor in Montenegro, the Zeleni Odred (Green Squad) Croatian nongovernmental organisation said.
