Exhibition on Zagreb cathedral set up in the city’s library

ZAGREB, June 1 (Croatia Sun News) – An exhibition on the Zagreb Cathedral was set up in the Zagreb City Library auditorium on the occasion of Zagreb City Day in an effort to draw attention to the importance of this edifice and to inform about damage it suffered in earthquakes in 1880 and on March 22 this year.

“If I forget you… The Holocaust in Croatia 1941-1945/Final destination Auschwitz” exhibition opens

ZAGREB, Feb 6 (Croatia Sun News) – Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic opened an exhibition on the suffering of Jews in WWII in the French Pavilion of the Zagreb Student Centre (SC), the building in front of which Jews were rounded up to be deported in railway wagons to death camps during the Second World War.

15th Museum Night to take place on Jan 31

ZAGREB, Jan 20 (Croatia Sun News) – More than 200 museums, galleries, libraries, archives, educational institutions and organisations from Croatia and neighbouring countries will participate in the 15th anniversary of Museum Night on 31 January, with this year’s theme being anniversaries, the Croatian Museum Society stated.
