KBC Zagreb: Personalised CAR-T therapy available in Croatia as of new year

ZAGREB, Dec 18 (Croata Sun News) – As of the new year, children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia and adults with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma will be able to be treated at the KBC hospital in Zagreb, the first hospital in the region accredited to apply personalised CAR-T therapy in the treatment of these diseases.

Construction of new building housing Bjelovar General Hospital to cost €36.6 m

ZAGREB, Nov 14 (Croatia Sun News) – The management of the general hospital in the city of Bjelovar, 80 kilometres east of Zagreb, has opted for an offer of HRK 272 million for the construction of the new hospital building, and the bidder is the Krizevci-based Radnik company.

Medical tourism a priority in Croatia’s national tourism strategy

ZAGREB, Oct 22 (Croatia Sun News) – Health tourism will be treated as one of the three priorities in the new national tourism strategy, given that this segment of tourist trade contributes to the health and tourism sectors and thus to the overall economy, Tourism Minister Gari Cappelli said at the opening of the 3rd Adriatic Health, Sport and Tourism Forum.
