Four Croatian port authorities implementing infrastructure projects worth €30 m

ZAGREB, Jan 30 (Croatia Sun News) – The port authorities in four northern Adriatic counties – Cres, Crikvenica, Krk and Mali Losinj – are implementing five infrastructure projects financed from the EU Competitiveness and Cohesion Fund, whose total value exceeds HRK 222 million, Primorje-Gorski Kotar County Prefect Zlatko Komadina said on Wednesday.

€39 million allocated for Imotski and Prolozac to upgrade water and sewage infrastructure

ZAGREB, Jan 28 (Croatia Sun News) – HRK 288 million has been allocated for the construction and reconstruction of water supply and sewage infrastructure in the southern town of Imotski and the neighbouring municipality of Prolozac, it was said at the signing of the agreement on this project in Imotski on Monday. Nearly 70 percent of this amount will be secured from EU funds.

JASPERS okays co-funding of Croatian project to renew HZ railcar fleet

ZAGREB, Jan 23 (Croatia Sun News) – JASPERS, the EU administrative body for Joint Assistance to Support Projects in European Regions, has given a green-light for financing a project to renew the fleet of the Croatian rail company “HZ Putnicki Prijevoz (HZ PP)”, the Croatian transport and infrastructure ministry stated on Thursday.

EU invests in Croatia’s water and wastewater infrastructure

ZAGREB, Nov 5 (Croatia Sun News) – The European Commission has approved two cohesion projects, together worth €156.6 million from the Cohesion Fund, to upgrade water and wastewater infrastructure in Croatia, the Commission stated in a press release on Monday.
