Transport minister: €3.5bn to be invested in railway infrastructure by 2030

ZAGREB, Oct 2 (Croatia Sun News) – Minister of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure Oleg Butkovic, addressing a conference on Tuesday marking the 150th anniversary of the start of construction of the Zagreb – Rijeka railway line, announced that about €3.5 billion would be invested by 2030 in the reconstruction and construction of the railway infrastructure.

Valamar Riviera to launch HRK 790 mn investment project in October

ZAGREB, Sept 26 (Croatia Sun News) – Croatia’s largest hotel company, Valamar Riviera, will invest HRK 790 million in the Pinea Hotel and nearby beaches and promenades in the Pical area of the northern Adriatic town of Porec. The project starts next month and is expected to be completed by the 2021 season, the company said on Tuesday.

Croatia invests over €1bn in Bosnia and Herzegovina to date

ZAGREB, Sept 13 (Croatia Sun News) – Croatia has invested slightly over €1 billion in Bosnia and Herzegovina to date, which makes it the second largest investor in the country, Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA) said in a statement on Friday, citing central bank statistics.
