KBC Zagreb: Personalised CAR-T therapy available in Croatia as of new year

ZAGREB, Dec 18 (Croata Sun News) – As of the new year, children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia and adults with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma will be able to be treated at the KBC hospital in Zagreb, the first hospital in the region accredited to apply personalised CAR-T therapy in the treatment of these diseases.

European Commission sets aside €48 mn for upgrade of Srebrnjak Children’s Hospital

ZAGREB, Sept 17 (Croatia Sun News) – A project to upgrade the Zagreb-based Srebrnjak Children’s Hospital, whereby the hospital will become a clinical research centre, is being co-funded by the European Union in the amount of €48 million, the European Commission stated on Tuesday.

€6.8 mn headquarters of drugs and cosmetics wholesaler Salvus opened in Donja Stubica

ZAGREB, Sept 12 – The 50-million-kuna headquarters of the Salvus company, specialised in wholesale trade of medicines, medical products, nutritional supplements and cosmetics, was formally inaugurated in the northern town of Donja Stubica on Wednesday evening.
