Cakovec Technical School to become a competence center thanks to the EU grant

ZAGREB, Feb 15 (Croatia Sun News) – The Cakovec Technical School received the first, HRK 30 million grant installment from a total of HRK 56 million allocated by the EU for the construction and equipment of the Regional Mechanical Engineering Centre “North”, which will be based in that school.

Bug Future Show attracts 3,000 visitors

ZAGREB, Feb 7 (Croatia Sun News) – The seventh Bug Future Show (BFS) hi-tech event, held on Thursday at the Student Centre Zagreb under the slogan “The Art of Science”, attracted some 3,000 visitors, which proves the interest of the general public in such events, said BFS director Dragan Petric.

Southern Croatia to get broadband Internet access

ZAGREB, Feb 3 (Croatia Sun News) – An agreement on a project for the development of broadband Internet access infrastructure in the area of Dubrovnik, which would ensure high-speed Internet access for around 11,000 households and 1,200 companies and institutions in the area from Dubrovacko Primorje to Konavle, was signed in the coastal city of Dubrovnik on Monday.
